In collaboration with its charitable organizations, the City’s health system has developed the resources to assist in providing access to preventative measures, therapy, education, treatment and support to the entire community including the disadvantaged and most vulnerable.

The mission of OATS, Inc. is to provide reliable transportation for transportation to disadvantaged Missourians so they can live independently in their own communities.


OATS is a not-for-profit organization contracted by the City of Lee’s Summit to provide door-to-door bus service to its citizens.  The OATS service requires a 24-hour advance reservation.  OATS operates this service for any purpose to all residents regardless of age or ability.  This service is offered Monday-Friday of each week to and from any location within the city limits.
